Brisk uses a player identifier to save your daily results, streak, answers and timings. You can play as a guest without providing a name or email. Guest progress is connected to this browser.

Connecting an account

Google sign-in is optional. Firebase Authentication stores your Google account details to recognise you across devices. Your Google name, email and picture stay out of public leaderboards. A public username is optional and is visible alongside your ranked results.

What we store and why

We store game records, account and username identifiers, progress transfers and reports so the game works and competition can be moderated. Reports are private to Brisk administrators. Request limits use keyed identifiers, including a keyed network address when configured, to reduce abuse.

Essential browser storage keeps you signed in, remembers preferences and temporarily saves unfinished answers. There are no advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics in Brisk. Google and Firebase process connection and device information needed to provide their authentication, hosting and security services. App Check, when enabled, uses Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise to check requests.

Where data lives

Google Firebase provides authentication and database services, and the Firestore database is in the United States. Vercel hosts the website and processes the technical request logs needed to operate and secure it. These providers may process data in the countries where they operate.

Keeping and deleting data

Daily results and transferred history remain until you delete your account or guest progress. Practice records are scheduled for removal after 30 days. Temporary request-limit records and old username holds are cleaned up regularly. Reports and moderation records connected to your player are removed with account deletion.

Open Account and choose Delete my account or Delete guest progress. Deletion removes your game history, username reservations and associated reports, including transferred guest results. It also deletes your Firebase account. A temporary marker blocks old sign-in tokens for at least two hours; it is removed by scheduled cleanup. Deletion can take several steps and resumes if interrupted.

If you lose access to a guest browser, we may be unable to establish which anonymous player is yours. Connecting Google before switching devices makes your account recoverable. Operational hosting logs are retained according to our provider settings and only for as long as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting. If backups are enabled, deleted information may remain in a restricted backup until that backup expires.

Your choices

You can delete your data from Account or contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion. Brisk is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

Changes

We may update this notice as Brisk changes. We will update the effective date above when we make a material change.
