How to approach a pattern puzzle
Start with the gaps. If the difference between neighbours is constant, you are adding or subtracting. If the gaps themselves grow steadily, the pattern is quadratic. If each term is a multiple of the last, you are multiplying. Brisk’s daily patterns stay within those families, so the first two checks usually settle it.
The number sequence method lays out the full checklist used in aptitude tests, and the sequence solver will name the rule for any sequence you paste in.
Why a short daily teaser
Short, spaced practice is remembered better than the same time spent in one sitting, and retrieving an answer strengthens it more than rereading it. Those two findings are among the most replicated in learning research. We lay them out in why a few minutes a day works.
